Band Boosters Association Meet the Booster Officers Jim and April Kessell - President Jim and April are serving jointly as president of the Big Red Band Boosters for the 2008-089 year. Jim is a graduate of Ravenswood High, and April graduated from Parkersburg South, with a stopover at PHS her senior year. They are the parents of two members of the Big Red Marching Band: Trey and Kyle (trumpets). Mary Divins and Kathy Brookover - 1st Vice President Mary is serving her second term as 1st Vice President (social activities/support) for the Big Red Band Boosters. She is the mother of Tommy (saxaphone). Kathy is in her first term as 1st Vice President, sharing responsibilities with Miss Mary. She is married to former Big Red Band percussionist Everett, and is the mother of Jason (baritone sax). Tamra and Dave Kirk/Cheryl and Pudge Wolfe - 2nd Vice President Tamra, Dave, Cheryl, and Pudge are 'tag teaming' the job of 2nd Vice President (fundraising) this year. Tamra is a Big Red alumni, and Dave is a former member of the PSHS Patriot band. They are the parents of Andrew (drumline). Pudge is a Big Red alumni, whose sister performed in the Big Red Band. He and Cheryl are the parents of Ryan (saxaphone). Lori Brooks - Secretary Lori is serving her fourth term as secretary of the Boosters organization. She is the mother of one current concert band student (Matthew), and of Mark and Michael, both members of the Long Red Line. Walt and Tammy Saiko - Treasurer Walt and Tammy are serving jointly as treasurer of the Boosters organization for a third term. Tammy is a 1981 graduate of Parkersburg South, former Field Commander of the Patriot Marching band, and is the mother of Ali Albright (drumline) and of Joseph Albright, PHS grad and member of the Long Red Line. Walt's claim to fame, besides being the sounding board for all things fiscal for the band boosters, is staying successfully married to Tammy! |
