Danny and Beth Patterson grill hot dogs for dinner at Oil and Gas Festival

The choice of a booster parent of the month is always a difficult thing, but for August/September of this year it was pretty easy.  Beth and Dan Patterson share the honor.  The parents of Ryan (senior, drum line, section leader) always make themselves available to help the band and students at every occasion. They offer advice, sweat, and great ideas to the success of the booster organization, and the Big Red Band.  As the overall chair of the meals committee this year, Beth has worked tirelessly with Mary Divins (1st VP) to see that this effort comes off flawlessly, and because of Beth and Mary the kids are well fed and comfortable at away games.  Dan is always there as an extra hand to load and unload equipment, be the necessary extra laborer, and as a sounding board for new ideas from the board of directors.  Together, they chaperone most events away from Parkersburg.  Although we know that they don't like to have attention drawn to their efforts, we have to applaud Beth and Dan, and salute them as our August/September Booster Parents of the Month.
